Easy and Fun Halloween Crafts and Activities 2025
October 21, 2025
Introduction
We do a lot of crafts. A LOT of them. I thought I would take you guys along with some of the crafts we do for Halloween. These crafts are cheap and easy to recreate. You could mostly use the items at your house for these.
Crafts
Monster Book
We got this craft from the Library. They are doing Harry Potter crafts for October. I love this and am excited to do the rest of them. This craft was super cute. I love that you can actually use the sticky notes if you want to. I think you could also use cardstock instead of felt if you wanted.
Instructions:
Glue teeth and tongue to book cover
Glue post it notes to back cover
Glue cardstock square to front cover
Glue as many googly eyes as you want to the cover
Howler
I also got this craft from the Library for Harry Potter Month. I LOVE this. They even printed out what the howler says to glue inside the letter.
Instructions:
Cut red and white paper into the appropriate shapes
Glue paper together and fold into howler
Attach the howler message and tongue
Pretend to be the Howler
Ghost
This craft we did at the Library. There was a ghost story and a ghost craft. I love this craft. It was super fun. Aryi put the face pieces on upside down to be silly and it still turned out great.
Instructions:
Paint toilet paper roll or cover with white paper
Tape crepe paper to the bottom
Attach string hanger
Attach Mouth, Eyes, and Arms
Spider
Handprint and finger print crafts are my favorite. This one is super easy and turns out perfect.
Instructions:
Paint 4 fingers black, stamp on paper
Repaint the same 4 fingers along with palm of hand, stamp on paper
Let dry
Draw mouth
Put as many googly eyes as desired
Candy Corn
This craft is super simple and great for the tiny ones. You can add a color matching element by coloring the parts of the candy corn to match the paper that goes there.
Instructions:
- Tear up white, orange, and yellow construction paper
Glue into the shape of a candy corn
Monster
Googly eyes are the best. A monster craft is a good way to play with them because you can add as many as you want.
Instructions:
- Glue together 4 purple popsicle sticks
Glue on mouth
Glue on as many googly eyes as wanted
Add a Magnet to the back if you want to attach it to the fridge
Frankenstine
This is a fun way to do Frankenstein.
Instructions:
Glue together 4 green popsicle sticks
Glue on frankenstein hair
Glue on goggly eyes
Draw on frankenstein mouth
Add a Magnet to the back if you want to attach it to the fridge
Pumpkin
Pumpkin picking and just pumpkins in general are a huge part of fall. This is going to be so cute on my fridge.
Instructions:
Glue together 4 orange popsicle sticks
Glue on mouth, eyes, and nose
Tape on green pipecleaner
Add a Magnet to the back if you want to attach it to the fridge
Mummy
I love a good mummy craft. This one is easy to wrap around due to the toilet paper roll being a circle. I think this would work less with a base like popsicle sticks. A tip is to curl the pipecleaners before attaching them.
Instructions:
Paint toilet paper roll or cover with white paper
Tape and wrap with white pipecleaners
Glue on googly eyes
Draw on mouth
Activities
Usborne Sticker Book
Sticker books are one of my son’s favorite activities. We have quite a few of these with different books. I thought a Halloween one would be fun.
Stickers
These build a face type of stickers are the best. These are left over from last year. I like these because it is a creative activity that needs no instructions from me. Aryi can just go at it.
Stamps
We get these kinds of stamps for pretty much every holiday. Aryi mostly loves to stamp them all over his face. So, if that bothers you probably don’t get them for your child.
Cut and Paste Book
I got this cut and paste book for Aryi for preschool. Only a few of the pages are Halloween related, but they are great. I don’t have to think of a cutting activity with this. I get to just give him the page and he cuts and pastes.
Prewriting Books
I also got these pre-written books for Aryi for preschool. Again, only a few pages are Halloween related, but they are great and just an awesome thing to have for preschool.

Sensory
Knowledge Crate Sensory Bin
I got this bin for Aryi last year for Halloween. We had tons of fun playing with it. I really do recommend these Knowledge Crate bins, they are always a great value. However, they did not put out a Halloween bin this year. I still wanted a new one, so I looked elsewhere to find the Young Wild and Freidman one.
Young Wild and Friedman Playdough Bin
So far we have had tons of fun with this bin. This bin is all Aryi wants to do these days. I included the link below if anyone is interested. I have no affiliation with them.
