Was it worth it? The Cost.

Yes. The crate cost me I think $125.00 and would obviously cost me much more to duplicate. I do have a lot of the craft items and it wouldn’t cost me quite the $280 but be closer to the actual cost if I personally tried to duplicate this box. However, I just added the extra art supplies to my cabinet for later use. I have quite the craft selection now.

Was it worth it? The Quality.

It turns out this crate had way too many activities. We weren’t even able to get to everything inside. That might be my fault because I also bought the Elf crate and was super overwhelmed trying to just get everything done. I am glad I got this crate and everything we did not get to I have saved to work on next year. I will have to restrain myself from buying more holiday kits.

As for the Books. They are amazing, and the main part of this crate. The crate is really built around the books. If they don’t come out with this crate again next year I definitely recommend A World Full of Christmas Crafts for younger kids as well as older kids like Aryi and How Winston Delivered Christmas for kids a bit older than Aryi, maybe 6+. How Winston Delivered Christmas had a lot of required reading that if not done can get you behind. Because of that I think it would be better for someone a few years older. Both Books have many crafts inside that you could then buy all the stuff and do them. You can skip the ones that are too involved or you just don’t want to do. Both books combined had more than 24 activities and will definitely keep anyone busy for the Christmas Season.

I count the photo album as a plus. It was a nice add in to have something like that. You wouldn’t really expect that in a craft box like this, but it seems like the perfect thing to round out the box. If you wanted to recreate the crate, this would definitely not be needed.

The activity guide is basically not needed. Pretty much every craft we did was in one of these books. So, like I said, it would be easy to just buy the books if they don’t come out with this crate again next year.

Personally I love Aryi’s crafts and do not mind our tree being fully decked out in my son’s ornaments. Some people may not like that. To me, it is beautiful.
