Lovevery Review 14: The Free Spirit Play Kit (Months 32-34)

Lovevery Review 14: The Free Spirit Play Kit (Months 32-34)

February 25, 2025

We Are a few boxes ahead since I did our last reorder and got a few of them at the same time. As I write this Ary is 33 months old. There are not many things in this crate where I thought his age would matter except maybe the puzzle. However, Aryi seems to be really good at puzzles. He has mastered this one. Other than that, the rest of the toys don’t matter much for age.

Play Guide Months 34-36

Every Box comes with a Guide with information for development, how to play with the toys included, and extra ways to play around your house.

Wooden Camper with Locking Doors and Van Go Outdoor Adventure

This camper is BEAUTIFUL. It is super fun and I absolutely love it. I feel like most little doll things like this are made for girls. I think this is super gender neutral and great for either a little girl or boy. I love that it has a lock and key. There are also 4 peg people that are great for pretend play. They come with 4 sleeping bags and a tent (not pictured below). I love this. I think it is super different and special. I would have never thought about a camper, but Aryi loves this book we have where Mickey Mouse and his friends go camping. He can kind of role play that and eventually as he gets older build on this camping imagination play. I found something a few dollars more expensive on Amazon, it is not as cute.

Solid Wood Stacking Boulders

These stacking stones are super cute. They are perfect in this box to go with the little camping/outdoor adventure theme. Aryi loves stacking, this gives you the addition of the tipsy topsy boulders being harder to stack than blocks.

Wooden Counting Box

This toy is one of few toys from Lovevery that I would say SUCKS. I hate it. Aryi doesn’t really like it. He will never use it for its intended purpose of counting, and he doesn’t know, even though he has tried how he can turn it into something else. It is horrible. I much prefer the toy we have that is like the Amazon dupe I included. We have this dupe and it actually works so much better for what it is meant for counting. There is no distraction involved. I can put a block in front of him and he will count and insert pegs. With the Lovevery toy, Aryi wants to pull off the cards and then he does’t know what to do with the pull lever and will just throw pegs everywhere. None of that happens with the dupe. I HATE this toy.

Land and Sky Two-Part Puzzle Board

This was a great next step in puzzles for Aryi. He got it for Christmas and in a few weeks he mastered it. He still loves it, even though it is mastered, he still wants to pull it out and play with it. It is one of the prettiest puzzles I have seen for toddlers. It is super fun.

Reach for the Stars Matching Cards

This is cute and something we are working on. I don’t think they are any better or worse than any other matching cards.

‘Now that I’m Three’

I LOVE this book. It talks about growing up, all of the things you can do now that you are three. We talked with Aryi about turning 3 in a few months. He is such a big boy using the potty, cleaning up, all the things he can do now. We love this book. I think it is a great way to celebrate those small steps he is making in growing up. I hope he feels proud of himself reading a book like this.

Book Bundle Books

‘A Day at The Beach’ and ‘This or That?’

These Books are so cute. Aryi specifically loves the day at the beach book. He loves the beach, the ladybug, and the crab. The best part is the last page, some of the words are replaced with pictures and Aryi can literally read the page with me. This or that book is also wonderful and a great way to talk about boundaries. Overall, these Lovevery books are great ways to introduce necessary topics.

This crate is so worth it! Most of the things in this crate are loved. It is worth it quality wise and price wise compared to the dupes. The only thing about this crate that wasn’t wonderful was the wooden counting box. Get rid of that Lovevery, make something like the dupe.
