Last week’s toys and books:
We had a bunch of new toys and books out last week. They all got a ton of play, except the scale. I think he doesn’t fully understand this toy yet. He had tons of fun with the books, puzzles, play dough, and tunnel. I think the picnic set was his favorite part.
This week’s toys and books:
This week we have a pets theme in playing preschool, I will be using this as a theme as best as I can with the toys I put out.
Bells (Lovevery) – I pulled these out to switch up the instrument for this week.
Top (Lovevery) – Aryi never understood exactly how to use this. I thought I would pull it out for another try.
Stacker (Lovevery/Amazon) – These are old, but good. Stackers are one of the best toys for babies and toddlers. I pulled them all out. We can mix and match.
Flowers (Lovevery) – Aryi has been picking me a lot of flowers lately. It is something his dad taught him and he loves to do it. I thought it would be good to pull out this flower toy for him.
Pet books (Library) – Since we are doing pets, I got a few extra pet books from the library to put out.
Animal Books (Lovevery) – I love these wooden books. They are beautiful. I thought we could go through and talk about which animal is a pet and which is not.
Pet and Dog Figurines (Amazon) – These will be fun to play with, talk about which animal is a pet.
Sensory Bins – I put these out for Aryi to play with his figures. One has kinetic sand. One has green rice and Orzo “grass”.
Alphabet Basket – This basket contains all of our alphabet books and puzzles.
Number Basket – This basket contains all of our number books, puzzles, and pegs.
Posting Pegs (Lovevery) – These are great. I haven’t brought them out in a while. It kind of looks like grass, like my sensory bin, that made me think to pull it out.
Bunnies in a Burrow (Lovevery) – Bunnies are pets, so I pulled them out.
Pet Stuffies (Amazon/Dollar Tree/Parade/Gift) – I thought to pull some of the stuffies that are pets.
