For some background introduction information on toy rotations see my first toy rotation blog at by clicking the link.

This week’s toys and books:

Scale (Lovevery) – Aryi likes to play with this scale in particular the pales. We are still playing with weights.

Loose Parts (Amazon) – Aryi likes to count these. We use them for weights. They have tons of purposes.

Puzzles – Aryi loves puzzles. These are great for independent play. I do think Aryi is ahead with puzzles and you shouldn’t be expecting your 2 year old to be working on 42 piece puzzles, but Aryi is there so I give them to him.

Playhouse, Camper, and Camp Set (Lovevery) – I pulled out everything that could be a part of the pretend play from the last 2 Lovevery Play Kits.

Bus (Lovevery) – I pulled this out for more pretend play to go with the camper and playhouse.

Emotion Pegs (Lovevery) – I pulled this out for more pretend play to go with the camper and playhouse.

Blockset (Lovevery) – This blockset is great for independent play and I love to pull it out, especially when I have less independent play toys out.

Cones (Amazon) – I pulled these out for big play. Big Gross motor play (usually something that happens outside) is super important. This is a way to bring it inside. Jump over the cones. Kick the cones over. Toss the rings. Obstacle courses.

Penguin Counters (Knowledge Crate) – These are great. I had them out basically all winter. The counters can be used for just that counting, colors, and pattern. They can also just be penguins.

Mailbox (Knowledge Crate) – This mailbox is super great for letters. It has letter matching puzzles with letter sound words and tracing cards.

Flashcards (Lovevery) – I don’t know why, I just saw these and pulled them all out. They are all for different things. One set is for routines, one for matching vehicles, one for colors and shapes.

Peg Counters (Amazon) – These are great for learning 1 to 1 correspondence, an important part of counting and early math.

Puzzle (Lovevery) – This shape puzzle is tons of fun.

Check out my playlists. I have number playlists, letter playlists, and a morning binder playlists
