Lovevery Review 15: The Observer Playkit (Months 37-39)
March 4, 2025

We Are a few boxes ahead since I did our last reorder and got a few of them at the same time. As I write this Ary is 33 months old. It did not matter. He was able to play with and enjoy every single toy in this crate. In this particular crate I think the toys are not really age related. I think most toddlers could play with them.
Play Guide Months 37-39
Every Box comes with a Guide with information for development, how to play with the toys included, and extra ways to play around your house.

Modular Playhouse with Wooden Accessories
This is one of my favorite toys from Lovevery. Aryi loves playing pretend with these little peg people and their house. I love that the house is so versatile. It can stack, it can be two small houses, and it can nest. You can add a ramp for peg people to slide or ride down. There are stairs that become a chimney. There is a key and lock for practicing fine motor skills. This playhouse has so many cool little reasons why it is better than another little playhouse you could pull off Amazon. We LOVE this toy. They can be paired with the Speedster or emotion dolls for more fun.

Plan Ahead Weather Board
We use this toy everyday. It has become one of our tools for our homeschool preschool. We go through the weather, day, season, and temperature of every day before moving on to our learning for the day. I love that this board is interactive. He can spin the sun, turn the day, move the thermometer, and pick the season card. You can find magnet boards that serve a similar purpose for a similar price.

Left and Right Shoe Stickers
I love these. Aryi is great now at putting on his shoes by himself. He does have a problem of putting them on the wrong feet. These stickers help so much with that. There are similar stickers online for much cheaper, but I do think you could just cut any sticker in half that has to be facing a specific direction and place half in each shoe.

Emotion Book Set
Two Big Friends, Quiet In My Body, and Happy Either Way
These books are all great for learning about emotion. They each talk about two different emotions. They are filled with real children having real emotions in an everyday kind of way that children will have these emotions. We love these books with real life kids. Aryi can relate. Remember the time you went on the slide and it was high and you were kind of worried. These books are amazing. And They go perfect with the little emotion dolls. This is exactly what we need right now while Aryi is having big feelings regularly.

Two-Seater Speedster
Aryi loves cars and peg people. This car is perfect sized for the ramp from the playhouse. I love how multiple separate toys can be incorporated in this box to make all different kinds of play possible.

Wooden Emotion Dolls
These dolls are precious. We love playing with these. Aryi likes to talk about happy and sad, these other emotions are harder to understand and talk about. It is nice for him to have these to act out feelings from books or his life. Big feelings are happening all over the place right now.

Book Bundle Books
Alora Makes a New Friend and A Haircut for Lunar New Year
As always these Lovevery books are Amazing. I absolutely love them. I believe the Lunar New Year Book has been replaced and am wondering why that would be. It looks like it was replaced with Ally to the Rescue which I am sure is another Amazing book. The quality of the content in these books is just unmatched.

Is it worth it? Yes. Both based on price and quality. You save more than $30 buying this kit instead of trying to recreate it. This crate is full of beautiful toys that are going to be great for developing the understanding of emotions. I love the playhouse, that it is more gender neutral, because boys need to play pretend too. Playing dolls (or in this instance peg people) helps in learning emotions and with social skills. I love every single thing that comes in this crate. It is one of my favorites.
