This week’s toys and books:

This week our preschool theme is opposites. I don’t really have opposite toys. I pulled mostly just random toys I thought would be fun. One of our books is Opposite zoo, so I did pull a few animal toys.

Books – The bookshelf is working great in the living room.

  • Aryi’s tracers are on here for whenever he wants them.

  • The books that go with our topic will also be displayed here. I have opposite books here for our preschool topic and bug books out for spring.

Puzzles (Lovevery/Kiwico/Amazon/Dollar Tree) – I wanted to have more toys available for independent play. I set out most of our puzzles on the bookshelf.

Lovevery Block Set (Lovevery) – The bottom drawer of the book shelf has our entire Lovevery blockset for easy access. I thought this was brilliant. I also decided to store the car racers and playhouse here as well.

Opposites Trey – I pulled a few opposite toys and placed them here so we can see opposites in real life.

Stacking Tree (Kiwico) – This tree is fun for stacking. Aryi loves to stack.

Timer Puzzle (Kiwico) – I don’t know why I pulled this, I just saw it and said this one.

Animal Lock Box (Kiwico) – I pulled this because of the opposite zoo book. There are animals. We do love this toy.

Stars and Tweezers (Lovevery) – We haven’t worked with tweezers in a while, so I thought pulling this would be good for a fine motor toy.

Bugs (Lovevery) – I pulled this toy for our last weeks of spring.

Stacking Tree (Kiwico) – This is GREAT for fine motor skills. It is really hard to keep the tree stacked while adding animals.

Kitchen (Lovevery) – This stays out. Aryi plays in the kitchen almost everyday.

Strollers (Lovevery/Walmart) – This stays out. Aryi plays with the stroller almost everyday.

Easel (gift/Amazon) – This stays out. Aryi draws almost everyday.

This week’s sensory bins:

Bugs and Birds (Knowledge Crate and Amazon) – I have this out for the spring.

Garden (Knowledge Crate) – I have this out for the spring.

Play Dough (Knowledge Crate) – This stays out indefinitely.

Check out my playlists. I have number playlists, letter playlists, and a morning binder playlists.
