Do A Toy Rotation With ME #65
October 9, 2025
For some background introduction information on toy rotations see my first toy rotation blog at by clicking the link.
Last Rotation:
In our last toy rotation all of the toys we had out had soooo many pieces. I felt like pieces were everywhere and I was overstimulated. This time I went for a few toys with less pieces to hopefully help with that while still having enough out for both kids to play.
Book Area:
Bookshelf – Books, puzzles, and tracers stay out all the time for independent play
Alphabet and Number Puzzles (Amazon) – I used these so much when starting to teach Aryi letters and numbers. I love when an alphabet puzzle has both lowercase and uppercase letters. It is also important to teach the sounds.
Tracer Boards (Amazon) – Aryi likes to trace. I got this for when he wants to trace when I can’t keep too close of an eye.
Lovevery Block Set (Lovevery) – The bottom drawer of the book shelf has our entire Lovevery blockset and Holtztiger Animals.
Easel (gift/Amazon) – Always out
This Rotation:
Board Books (Amazon) – These books are great for babies, they can learn what things are even if they can’t say it yet. Also, they love to flip pages at this age and the little books help that.
Dinosaur Stackers (Amazon) – This toy should be fun for both kids. Aryi can make the tower and match the dinosaurs. The baby can chew on the dinos.
Fall Stacking Tree (Kiwico) – I decided to keep this out. Trying to get all the leaves on the tree is a challenge.
Flashlight (Lovevery) – Aryi loves the flashlight. What could be more fun than a flashlight.
Wooden Stacker (Lovevery) – This stacker is probably way too advanced for the baby, but she can chew on the rings. And Aryi has tons of fun with these.
Plastic Stacker (Amazon) – I know this stacker is way too advanced for the baby, but she can chew on the rings. And Aryi has tons of fun with these.
Scarves (Amazon) – These scarves are a hit for both kids. Aryi loves to do Peek-a-Boo with the baby by putting a scarf on her head and pulling it off like I have always done to him. He ties them onto things. He can be super creative with these.
Piano (Amazon) – This piano is so cute. It was a gift when Aryi was very little. Aryi still loves to make music with it. He shows the baby how to make noise with it too.
Rainbow Roller (Lovevery) – Aryi and the baby both LOVE this toy.
Microphone (Amazon) – Aryi sings all the time. He loves to sing on the microphone. The baby also loves when he sings.
Dinosaur Crinkle Book (Amazon) – The baby loves crinkle toys. I pulled this out mostly for her, but also, there are dinosaurs.
Baby Crinkle Book (Lovevery) – Again, the baby loves crinkle toys.
Pickler Triangle (Amazon) – This is great to get all of Aryi’s wiggles out. He loves climbing and I would rather him climb something made for climbing like this than the furniture.
Tree Toy (Amazon) – This toy is THE BEST. Aryi still plays with it. It helps babies at this age who are learning to stand and cruise. Sometimes they get distracted and forget to hold on, then they are just standing up.
Tunnel (Kiwico) – Aryi loves to hide in these. I also thought it would be nice for the baby who is still working on her crawling.
