Do A Toy Rotation With Me #66
October 16, 2025
For some background introduction information on toy rotations see my first toy rotation blog at by clicking the link.
Last Rotation:
Again in the last rotation, I was so overstimulated. I tried to fix that in a new way this week.
Book Area:
Bookshelf – Books, puzzles, and tracers stay out all the time for independent play
Alphabet and Number Puzzles (Amazon) – I used these so much when starting to teach Aryi letters and numbers. I love when an alphabet puzzle has both lowercase and uppercase letters. It is also important to teach the sounds.
Tracer Boards (Amazon) – Aryi likes to trace. I got this for when he wants to trace when I can’t keep too close of an eye.
Lovevery Block Set (Lovevery) – The bottom drawer of the book shelf has our entire Lovevery blockset and Holtztiger Animals.
Easel (gift/Amazon) – Always out
This Rotation:
I put mostly big boy Aryi toys out on the shelf. I got a basket for all of the little baby things. Hopefully this helps. I tried to put out less, but I feel like I’m always trying to do that and never really accomplish it. I asked Aryi what he wanted out. He said Dragons, Dinosaurs, Cars, and Fishing. I delivered.
Playgym Tent (Lovevery) – I set the tent up pretty for Halloween. Hopefully the kids get some fun out of it.
Guitar (From My Childhood) – Aryi loves to play with my guitar. He just strums the strings. It was mine as a kid. I like having this out because it is something he has to be gentle with.
Fishing Pole (Gift from a vacation) – I pulled this out because Aryi asked for Fishing. This toy is so much fun and great for fine motor.
Sword (Gift from an Event) – Aryi just got this and is OBSESSED, so I’m leaving it out.
Dragons (Amazon) – Aryi has three little dragon figures. He loves figures, so I left these out. He did ask for dragons.

Dragons Love Tacos (Amazon) – More Dragons. This book is hilarious.
Dragon Post (Amazon) – More Dragons. This book is a lot for a three year old, we usually read it better in the bed.

Mailbox (Amazon) – This mailbox is great for working on alphabet and puzzle skills. It goes with the dragon post book.

Eggs (Amazon) – Both Aryi and the Baby LOVE these eggs. I think if you have a baby you need these eggs, period. They are the best toy.
Ball Drop (Lovevery) – I did pull this out for the baby. Sometimes she gets the ball in. She has not mastered it just yet.
Vehicles Soft Book (Amazon) – Aryi asked for cars.
Cars and Vehicles (Amazon) – Aryi asked for cars. He loves cars. Our road is inside the table. I plan to pull that out as an extra activity at some point this week.

Fishing Game (Kiwico) – Aryi asked for fishing.
Dinosaurs (Amazon) – Aryi asked for Dinosaurs. I pulled them all out in the last two rotations, so I just set these out.

Racing Cars (Lovevery) – More Cars.
Kitchen and Food Toys (Amazon) – Aryi also asked for kitchen stuff this week. He loves to “cook”. Hopefully we can do better about picking it all up.

Pickler Triangle (Amazon) – This is great to get all of Aryi’s wiggles out. He loves climbing and I would rather him climb something made for climbing like this than the furniture.
Tree Toy (Amazon) – This toy is THE BEST. Aryi still plays with it. It helps babies at this age who are learning to stand and cruise. Sometimes they get distracted and forget to hold on, then they are just standing up.
Tunnel (Kiwico) – Aryi loves to hide in these. I also thought it would be nice for the baby who is still working on her crawling.
Baby Basket:
Dog (Amazon) – These dogs are really fun. I usually keep this in the car. I have no idea how it got inside, but it did and we have other toy cars. I put it out for Aryi and the baby. They both love it. There are both girl and boy versions.

Soft Blocks (Kiwico) – Hopefully I can teach the baby to stack a little bit with these soft blocks.
Wobbler (Lovevery) – Aryi was never interested in this toy. The baby loves to chew on it.
Dino Soft Book (Amazon) – The baby loves crinkle toys. I pulled this out mostly for her, but also, there are dinosaurs.
Rattle (Lovevery) – This rattle is so fun. All the little babies love music, so both the kids love to play with this.
Rattle (Amazon) – I know the baby has this toy, so I thought it was fun to pull it out here.
Teethers (Lovevery) – Teething baby, enough said.
Keys (Lovevery) – Teething baby, enough said.
Minnie (Amazon) – My mom bought this toy on a trip to Disney. I found it on Amazon for less for you guys. There is an entire set of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse figures. She loves to chew on the Minnie. She is teething now, so I put it out.
Teething Book (Lovevery) – Teething baby, enough said.
Play Socks (Lovevery) – I love these. I think the baby is growing out of them, she mostly pulls them off, but she plays with them when she pulls them off.
