What My 20 Month Old Ate Today 12.16.2023: A Day with Dada

I am not a nutritionist or an expert in nutrition in any way. I am just a mom sharing what my son ate on this day. This is not a meal plan or a guide for anyone else. This is just what works for us.
Milk – 06:00am – 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk
Breakfast – 07:30am – Oatmeal with yogurt and apple juice
One of the only times we give Aryi apple juice is when he is not feeling great. We do this to try to keep him hydrated at least with some kind of liquid, get something in his stomach. Aryi wasn’t feeling good today and he drank the apple juice and ate a little oatmeal.
Snack 1 – 10:30am – Animal crackers
Lunch – 11:00am – Coconut curry shrimp
Another way we get Aryi to eat when he isn’t feeling great is rice, lots of rice. Aryi loves rice.
Milk – 12:00pm – 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk with 2 oz Water with Vitamins
Snack 2 – 4:30pm – Banana
Dinner – 06:00pm – Lima beans with shrimp
I know the pictures of lunch and dinner might look the same, but they are not. My mom came over to watch Aryi so we could go to a work party. My mom brought Lima beans and shrimp. She did not tell us she was going to bring this, but it worked out. He loved it. When your dad is from Nepal and your mom is from Louisiana. MORE RICE PLEASE.
Dessert – 07:00pm – Ice cream with Grandball
Milk – 07:00pm – 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk with 2 oz Water
