Last week’s toys and books:
As always, Aryi loved all of the animals. The music kit was also a huge hit. He loved everything that was out this week except the car drop that he barely used for the second week in a row. Not sure if it is because cars were out before this or he just loves the animals so much.
This week’s toys and books:
Today was Christmas. That means the toys out this week are Aryi’s Chritsmas presents. I am also leaving out the Lovevery Music kit since we have only had it for a few days.
Train (Amazon) – Aryi loves this train. He says choo choo and makes it go. He also loves to tear apart the tracks.
Music Kit (Lovevery)
Shape Puzzle (Lovevery) – Aryi mastered this the first time he tried it. I did not expect that and wished I had gotten a puzzle that was a little harder. However, we can still work on shapes and colors with this puzzle.
Dancing/singing Mickey (Grandma) – Aryi fell in love with Mickey the minute he saw it. He usually does the “drop it down low” dance, but he is learning “side to side” dancing from Mickey.
Plane set (Grandma) – Aryi loves planes. This one is super cool. It makes noise when you move it and you can put the people in and take them out. When we get to more advanced pretend play, this will be great for that.
Mr. Potato Head (Grandma) – Aryi hasn’t really been liking potatoes. He loves his glasses. He loves all glasses. I think that may be all he gets from this toy for a while.
Magnet tiles (Grandma) – Right now, all Aryi is doing with these is pulling them apart and putting them back together. Magnets are super interesting and I think he will enjoy discovering them with these tiles.
Penguins (Knowledge Crate) – These have so many uses, counting, color learning, and fine motor skills. Hopefully we can hit on each of these during this rotation.
Writing Tablet (Amazon) – Aryi has been having so much fun with this. He loves to watch the writing disappear. He loves to write and say A, B, C, pretending to write the letters while he scribbles.
Lovevery Blockset, Lovevery Books, Hello, World! Books, Balls, Busy Tree, and Playgym are out as always. I have also added the flashcards and kitchen Aryi got for Christmas to this list, as well as the cleaning kit and kitchen accessories. Aryi loves the kitchen, but if you come across this particular kitchen on amazon, I wouldn’t buy it. Sooooo many pieces to put together!!!!!!!!
