What My Toddler Ate Today 4.30.2024

I am not a nutritionist or an expert in nutrition in any way. I am just a mom sharing what my son ate on this day. This is not a meal plan or a guide for anyone else. This is just what works for us. Aryi was asking for a lot of stuff today. I tend to give him what he asks for unless it is unreasonable or I have made a particular family meal because I want him to have a healthy relationship with food and know what his body wants.
Breakfast – 08:00am – Waffle, Yogurt, and Strawberries with 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk and Vitamins
Aryi asked for a waffle this morning. I gave him a protein waffle with yogurt and strawberries. I love this meal. The waffle has lots of protein, fats from the yogurt, and all kinds of good things in fruit.
Snack 1– 09:30am – Bar and Banana
Aryi pulled these things from the snack bowl. He ate a lot this morning.
Lunch – 11:30am – Avocado Toast and Lentils with Rice with 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk
I was already warming the lintels. Aryi asked for bread. I didn’t want to give Aryi just a piece of bread, so I said “do you want avocado toast?”. He said yes. I made some avocado toast. I still gave him the lentils because I warmed them.
Snack 2 – 03:30pm – Cheeze its
Dinner – 06:00pm – Chicken nuggets, Stuffing, and Vegetables with 180mL/6oz Whole Cow’s Milk
Aryi asked for nuggets. I gave him the nuggets with leftover stuffing and some veggies.
