Introducing My Preschool Play Packs

I saw this Playing Preschool curriculum on someone’s youtube channel. I thought it was perfect for Aryi. You are literally learning through play. Aryi loves sensory and art projects. I know I couldn’t keep those ideas coming for him. That is why I decided to get this curriculum. I love everything about it EXCEPT that there are absolutely no worksheets. I think worksheets are great. They are not only teaching you to do whatever the worksheet is on. They are also helping you with fine motor and writing skills. And. . they teach you to sit still for 10 minutes. That is a necessary skill for school or even just the real world, like it or not. 

It may seem crazy that I am already letting my 1 year old do worksheets. But, he loves them, so I don’t think it is crazy. I don’t force him to do it or anything. I just offer it as an option, and he loves it. Also, Aryi and I spend so much time together just playing that I promise it isn’t just me and him doing worksheets. I think they are fun and I think a lot of children actually like worksheets. 

I also thought It would be better to have paper manipulatives all in one place ready to go for me, so I am not pulling out buttons, pom poms, or whole apples when we are in the middle of something else. This will also be easier to take on the go if I decide to do a lesson in the park or somewhere else. All I will have to do is grab the folder for the topic and some markers and go.
