For some background introduction information on toy rotations see my first toy rotation blog at by clicking the link.
Last week’s toys and books:
We had tons of fun with our pet theme last week. Surprisingly, the thing Aryi played with the most was all the stackers. I will definitely be bringing all of that back out soon. He played with everything thoroughly. It felt like there were less toys out and he got tons of play out of them.
This week’s toys and books:
We had an egg theme in playing preschool this week. I pulled out the egg related toys for this toy rotation, along with a few others that felt fun or related.
Stacking wooden puzzle with car (Kiwico) – I don’t know why I pulled this out. I saw it and it felt right.
Animal pocket toy (Lovevery) – This will be a fun toy for this week. Which animals lay eggs?
Bug Puzzles (Amazon) – Bugs lay eggs. Aryi has developed a little fear of bugs. I am trying to reintroduce them in fun ways.
Peg board (Kiwico) – Aryi mastered the rings on this a long time ago. I thought it was time to take it back out and try again with the bars.
Shape sorter (Amazon) – This is a classic. It always gets a good play when I pull it out.
Easter eggs (Dollar Tree) – Egg theme, need I say more.
Lightbox (Kiwico) – I saw this and remembered how much Aryi loved it. I thought I would pull it back out. I think maybe I can print pages of animals and an egg and we can put it on the lightbox to see what animal is in the egg. I will try to remember to let you guys know if this works.
Egg puzzle (Lovevery) – Egg theme, need I say more.
Fall stacking tree (Kiwico) – It is the beginning of fall for us. I thought the stacking tree would be a great toy to pull out.
Eggs (Amazon) – Egg theme, need I say more.
Puzzle (Lovevery) – This is new and a harder puzzle. I thought I would pull it back out and I could work with him on putting a certain color first or shape.
Dinosaurs and flashcards (Knowledge crate) – Dinosaurs lay eggs. It may help his language skills to start learning harder words like the dinosaur names. We can match the dino to the card.
Alphabet basket – This basket is full of Alphabet related books and toys.
Number Basket – This basket is full of Number related books and toys.
