What We Got Aryi for Christmas Last Year 2022 at 7 Months Old

December 5, 2023

This is what we got Aryi for Christmas last year. He was 7 months old on Christmas day. Hopefully this will give you guys some ideas for Christmas presents for your toddler or a toddler in your life.

2022 Lenox Ornament (from Mom) – Amazon

This one says 2023, but I wanted a good picture and this is what I found. Aryi’s says 2022. Every year I will get Aryi, a Lenox ornament. My grandmother got me a new Lenox ornament every year and it was my favorite present of the year. This meant so much to me, especially when she passed away. So, I will get Aryi a new ornament every year. I don’t expect him to appreciate it as a kid, but when he is older, I know he will.

Lovevery Stacker (from mom and dad) – Target

This was a great gift and the perfect time to give it. Aryi was just starting to sit up a little bit kind of by himself. This was a great toy for helping him want to sit up and focus on his fine motor skills

Lovevery Wooden Book (from mom and dad) – Target

This was another great gift for Aryi. This ended up being a little early for it. At about a year old Aryi started liking these books more. We go through and I ask him to point to the animal. If he can say an animal name I ask him what is this animal.

Lovevery Peg People (from mom and dad) – Target

Aryi loves these peg people. He is not at the point of pretend play with the people any further than making them eat. He does love to stick the people in the little cups that they come with and pretend to drink from the little cups. I am starting to teach him color matching with some toys, and this is a great toy to teach that.

Lovevery Blockset (from Dad) – Lovevery

Dad gets to give a gift every year. In this first year he really had no Idea, so I picked the present for him. But he does have ideas for gifts to give in the future. They just have not been age appropriate yet. We got him this block set. At this age it was super early for a toy like this. However, since his first birthday, this blockset has been an amazing toy for Aryi’s development and a staple in our toy rotation.

Lovevery Pull Pup (from mom and dad) – Loevery

Aryi is just starting to figure out how to pull around this pup. He loves his dog. Again, he loves to make the dog eat. I don’t know why he loves to make all of his toys eat.

Stacking Stones (from Santa) – Amazon

We actually do not really use these too much. I did not think the stones would be so tiny, but they are tiny and seem like a huge choking hazard. Sometimes I will pull out the big ones, but even when I do he never really gravitates towards them.

Gingerbread Squeakers (from Santa) – Amazon

I think these were actually dog toys. Aryi loved these last year, but he wasn’t strong enough to make them squeak himself. We used them for putting in and taking out. They have since taken a trip to the attic until Christmas time 2023. I think he will love them again this year when they come out.

Softbooks (Transportation, Animals, and Dinos) (from Santa) – Amazon

These all got different reactions. The animal books were pretty much useless. Aryi prefers his animals to look real. He would much rather just look at the real picture books of animals. The Dino book was a big hit. Aryi loved to try to pull the dino out of the book. This was one of his favorite things to do in the car. The transportation book was somewhere in the middle. He liked it, but it wasn’t the best thing ever.

Books (from Santa) – Amazon

I thought, the “Hello, World!” books were amazing and beautiful. There is so much information and the illustrations are beautiful. Aryi couldn’t care less about these books. He really gets bored if the books don’t contain real people or animals, or are just about something he is really interested in at the moment. Hopefully as he gets a little older he will enjoy them more. The Christmas book however, was a hit. I think it was for all of the flaps.

Music Set (from Santa) – Amazon

Aryi loves music. He loves to bang around and make all of the noise. It is so much fun for both of us when he pulls out his shakers and flute. This was a huge hit and I recommend musical instruments for every baby. Ones like these that don’t come with buttons and annoying songs.

Ball Set (from Santa) – Amazon

Aryi loves balls. This was a great toy for him. We added all of the balls to his little ball basket and they stay out forever. I don’t think there has been a single day that we do not play with a ball.

Bear (from Santa) – Amazon

Aryi LOVED this stuffy. He hugged it. He kissed it. He tried to pick it up. It was his friend. I totally recommend getting a big stuffy like this for a baby.

Ballpit (Pit, Balls, Shark, and Fish)  (from Santa) – Amazon

I really wanted a ball pit. I don’t know why I really wanted a ball pit, but I did. It never gets used. This might be my fault because I never bring it out, but when I do it doesn’t get played with either. The shark and fish however, were great gifts. He loves them and plays with them still. Aryi really loves any stuffy.

Stocking (Teethers, Socks, Beanie, and Christmas Lovie) (from Santa) – Amazon

We always need more teethers and socks. Stockings are for practical items. I used it for just that. I also put his little hoodie to weir christmas day in here and a Santa Lovie. I did not do a winter basket for Christmas stuff last year. From now on things like this will go in the winter Christmas basket.
