Red Beans

 

Ingredients

2 lbs Camellia Red Beans

1 lb Manda Sausage

Tony Chachere Seasoning

Rice

 

Instructions

1.Cook beans in a slow cooker in 4 cups of water on high for 4 hours adding more water when needed. 

2. Heat oil on medium heat. Cook onion until translucent. Set aside. 

3. Cook sausage in the same pot until the edges start to brown. Set aside. 

4. About half way through beans cook time (2 hours in) add in onions, sausage, and Tony Chachere seasoning to taste. 

5. Serve over rice. Add in a side of cornbread to make it even better.
